Google announces Stadia, its cross-platform game streaming service


At the 2019 Game Developers Conference (FDC) in San Francisco today, Google unveiled Stadia, its all-you-can-play game streaming service. It’s launching sometime this year, first in the US, Canada, UK, and most of Europe. The service will let you play all manner of computer games streamed from Google‘s data centers to your devices running the Chrome browser or ChromeOS platform, or even your TV with a Chromecast Ultra plugged in.
